As they near the end of their productive life, Morris Public Schools Superintendent Rick Lahn told KMRS that the school district does not have money to replace all the Smartboards in the schools at one time. But they will be replaced one by one as needed.  Next year, the school district will have a 1:1 ratio of Google Chromebooks for every 5th through 12th grade student. Lahn said the new technologies engage kids, and engaged kids make better learners.
