IDEAg’s Minnesota Farmfest will take place August 7 through 9 on the Gilfillan Estate in Redwood County, over by Redwood Falls, with 50 acres of exhibiting land.
Farmfest connects over 30,000 attendees with over 500 local and national companies for three days of education, political forums, field demonstrations, and networking. A free sweet corn feed will be held 11:45 a.m. August 7, all-pro linebacker Chad Greenway will appear August 8, and the Minnesota Farm Bureau pancake breakfast will be held 8 to 10 a.m. August 8. Children’s activities include a farm safety Just For Kids booth, pig races, kids’ yoga, kids’ pedal pull, a Color My Farm mural paint wall, and cooking demonstrations.
