(4H at Fair)

The huge impact 4-H plays in the state’s county fairs was emphasized by Stevens County Fair Board Members John Dosdall and Dennis Leder, who were on the KMRS Early Morning Show.

The Open Beef Show will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Stevens County Fair, with the 4-H Rabbit Show at 6 p.m. tonight. Thursday, the 4-H Poultry Show will run at 10 a.m., with the 4-H Goat Show at 1:30 p.m., the 4-H Lamb Lead at 5:30 p.m., and the 4-H Sheep Show at 6 p.m. Friday’s 4-H events include an 8 a.m. Swine Show, 11:30 a.m. Dairy Show, and 2:30 p.m. Beef Show. Saturday will see a 9 a.m. Round Robin and a 1 p.m. Livestock Auction. Finally, on Sunday the 4-H Fun Horse Show will be held from 10 a.m. to noon, with a Rabbit Costume Class starting at noon.
