The Morris Theater Cooperative celebrated the grand opening of the theater’s new Micro Cinema this past weekend, a separate screening area that has 18 new rocker seats and 1 handicapped accessible seat to view a 12 foot screen. Mayor Sheldon Giese is a board member of the Morris Theater Cooperative and described the viewing experience.

Giese told KMRS that the Micro Cinema will allow the theater to show more movies as well as different types of movies.

The Micro Cinema will also be available for private party rentals, and gaming systems can be hooked up to its screen. Giese also noted that the theater will soon be offering online ticketing to guarantee your seats.
