The Donnelly Threshing Bee will kick off tonight with a community supper on the Threshing Bee grounds from 7 to 9 p.m.. There will be kids games and a viewing of “Donnelly Threshing Bee Postcards,” a program that aired on Pioneer Public TV, Channel 10. Saturday’s events include a pancake breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m. in the steel building, an 8 a.m. 5K Fun Run, a 9 a.m. softball tournament, a 9 a.m. Tractorcade, an antique tractor pull starting at 10 a.m., a kiddie parade at 11:30 a.m., an antique tractor pull at 2 p.m., a bean bag tournament at 2:30 p.m., live music on the grounds by Pure Country from 6 to 7 p.m., and again from 8 to 9:30 p.m., and the Coronation on the Depot stage at 7 p.m.

Threshing Bee Board Member Barry Gades told the KMRS Community Connection program that he’ll get a kick out of the 1:30 p.m. kiddie tractor pull near the big top tent on Saturday.
