Students beginning the school year after Labor Day at Morris Area High School will feel the effects of ongoing  construction at the facility. Superintendent Rick Lahn told KMRS  that sewer lines were replaced over the summer and contractors had to trench down 10 feet deep to put the lines in, leading to a replacement of existing flooring.

The bulk of the cosmetic or visible renovation projects will be done next summer.
