GROVE CITY – Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta made quick work of the ACGC on Tuesday with a 25-15, 25-11, 25-14 sweep of the Falcons.
Lexi Pew had nine kills, LaRae Kramm tallied 16 assists, Bailey Marty and Riley Decker each recorded 11 digs who the Tigers who improve to 7-2, 3-1 in conference play. Kenzie Hockel added seven kills with six digs, and Sophia Carlson had six kills for the Tigers who face Melrose on Thursday.
Wheaton/Herman-Norcross 3, Sisseton 1
WHEATON – Haley Johnson had 32 assists and 15 digs to lead Wheaton/Herman-Norcross past Sisseton in Wheaton on Tuesday.
Many of Johnson’s set assists were for Kennedi Wright who had 15 kills to go with her 35 digs and five service aces. Maycee Tolifson added nine kills and 27 digs, Callie Hanson totaled 36 digs for the Warriors who are 5-1.
Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley 3, Breckenridge 0
BRECKENRIDGE – Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley improved to 7-1 on the season with a sweep of Breckenridge, 25-15, 25-23, 25-16.
It was another team effort for the Wolverines who got 19 kills, 12 digs, three blocks, and four aces from Emma Botker. Lora Botker and Tylaina Issendorf combined for 32 assists and 20 digs, Mataiah Turner added two blocks with 10 digs.
Brandon-Evansville 3, Rothsay 1
ROTHSAY – Superb serving helped Brandon-Evansville gain an early advantage on their way to a four-set win over Rothsay, 25-13, 25-23, 23-25, 25-20.
Bailey Schaefer was dominant at the line with 14 service aces to go with her 18 kills. Mikenna Pattrin added eight kills, Sara Jacobson led with 13 digs, and Madison Quinn recorded 33 assists as the Chargers improve to 5-4.
