MORRIS – A hyped West Central Conference volleyball showdown live up to the hype, with Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta falling in five-sets to Sauk Centre 25-20, 17-25, 21-25, 25-18, 8-15.
The Tigers were led by Kenzie Hockel’s double-double of 12 kills and 24 digs, Riley Decker had 28 digs, and Bailey Marty added 22. Lexi Pew had 13 kills and Sophia Carlson tallied 11 as the Tigers fall to 7-4. Nicole Kortan led the Streeters with 16 kills and they improve to 13-1.

Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley 3, Hancock 0
GRACEVILLE – Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley breezed past Hancock 25-16, 25-10, 25-8 on Tuesday.
Jessica Moberg was 20-20 serving with two aces and 14 digs, Emma Botker had a double-double of 12 kills and 13 digs, Mataiah Turner recorded 10 with two blocks, and Lora Botker had 17 assists as the Wolverines improve to 9-1, the Owls are 0-7.

Wheaton/Herman-Norcross 3, Breckenridge 0
WHEATON – Wheaton/Herman-Norcross moved to 8-4 on the season with a 25-16, 25-22, 25-22 win over Breckenridge, dropping the Cowgirls to 6-5.

West Central Area 3, Ortonville 2
ORTONVILLE – West Central Area snapped a four-match losing streak with a five-set win over Ortonville on Tuesday, 25-22, 25-22, 8-25, 18-25, 16-14.
Kaitlyn Sanstead recorded 30 digs to lead the Knights, Morgan Woodle added 17 with 12 kills, and Hailey Bennett chipped in with 10 kills and 20 assists for the Knights who are 4-6.
