Tonight the crime victim services agency Someplace Safe will hold an Oktoberfest Fundraiser at Old No. 1 Bar and Grill in Morris, with doors opening at 6 p.m. Ashley Zach, Director of Development and Communication for Someplace Safe working out of Breckenridge, told KMRS that the agency serves all victims of crime in a 9 county area.
Tonight’s fundraiser will feature traditional German food offerings, craft beer and wine sampling, live music, games and a silent auction. Tickets are $25 and available at the door or through the Someplace Safe home page, at Someplace Safe offices and Thrift Stores, as well as Willie’s SuperValu in Morris, the Ortonville Cenex and the DMV office in the Wheaton Courthouse. Monies raised will help crime victims.
