Section 6AA Playoff Matchups
Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta grabbed the fourth-seed, earning a home game against fifth-seed and defending section champs West Central Area/Ashby in the section 6AA quarterfinals.

The Tigers (5-3) and Knights (4-4) will meet for the first time this year and have no common opponents between them.

The Tigers averaged 28.5 points per game and face a Knights defense surrendering 20.9. Meanwhile the Tiger defense gives up just 18.9 points, while offensively the Knights are scoring 21.8 points.

The game will be played on Tuesday at 6:00 from Big Cat Stadium in Morris and can be heard on 1230/107.7 KMRS.

The winner advances to the semifinals on Saturday, Oct. 27 against either top-seed Pillager (7-1) or eighth-seed Staples-Motley (1-7).

The second-seed is Breckenridge (6-2) and the Cowboys host Long Prairie/Grey Eagle (3-5), while third-seed Osakis (6-2) will host Wadena/Deer Creek (3-5).

Section 5AA Playoff Matchups
Minnewaska received the second-seed for the section 5AA playoffs, earning a home playoff game against seventh-seeded Benson on Tuesday at 6:00.

The Lakers (6-2) and Braves (0-8) faced each other in the regular season finale at the same location, with the Lakers winning 45-0.

Third-seed Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City (4-4) will host Sauk Centre (1-7), and fourth-seed Holdingford (3-5) hosts Eden Valley-Watkins (2-6).

Top seed Paynesville (6-2) earned a a bye into the semifinals.
