The U of M Morris Performing Arts Series continues with the Griffin Theatre’s Letters Home 7:30 p.m. Friday in Edson Auditorium, in the campus Student Center. Letters Home brings the current wars in Afghanistan and Iraq front and center through letters written by soldiers serving in the Middle East. The production is inspired by The New York Times’ “The Things They Wrote” and HBO’s Last Letters Home. Without politicizing, the play paints a powerful portrait of the soldier experience in the ongoing wars. Tickets will be available at the door.
