On an interview with KMRS earlier this morning, Republican candidate for governor Jeff Johnson said he opposes a gas tax to fund infrastructure repairs. Johnson said he wants to see government focus more on its essential services and provide tighter economic scrutiny.

He opposes light rail and the building of a trolley system in Minneapolis, a project Johnson noted that has a price tag in the hundreds of millions of dollars. The full interview with Jeff Johnson, along with that of his Democratic rival Tim Walz, can be found on our website at kmrskkok.com.
