With the election just one day away, the candidates for Minnesota’s 7th Congressional District race are making their closing arguments to the voters. Republican challenger Dave Hughes told KMRS that his opponent Collin Peterson has been in Congress too long and won’t support President Trump’s agenda as he would.

Democrat Peterson, who has served in Congress for 28 years, told KMRS that Hughes is “making stuff up” when he alleges that the incumbent only had three bills with his name on it in the past eight years..

If the Democrats take back control of the House of Representatives in tomorrow’s election, Peterson will be the chair of the House Agriculture Committee.
