(School Elections) 11/07

In school board elections: Doug Stahman, Matt Johnson and Mike Odello were elected to the Morris Area School Board. Randy Bettermann, Diane Richter and Jana Anderson were elected to the Brandon-Evansville School Board. Krista Hartman, Holly Wellendorf and Andrew Treinen were elected to Ortonville’s school board. Mike Adelman, Theresa Diekmann, Greg Vold and Scott Mahoney were elected to the Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley school board.

Pat Haney, Dana Blume and Amanda Kramer were elected to Herman-Norcross school board. Matthew Westerman, Mark Gibson and Keith Anderson were elected to Chokio-Alberta school board. In Benson, it was Paul Carruth, Brian Samuelson and James Berens who won. Eric Peterson won the special election for Benson school board. In Browns Valley, Laurie Appel and Ashley Schulz will take seats on the board. And in Wheaton, Leah Thielen, Kurtis Hofer and Bradley Larson won seats on the board.

In West Central Area, Sara Strunk, Michelle Nessman and Darin Grosz won seats on the board. Voters in West Central also approved a ballot question that extends an existing property tax referendum that was scheduled to expire.

In Hancock, John Boon, Timothy Schaefer and Brett Duncan won seats on the board. Voters in Hancock approved the school district bond issue with 73 percent in favor.
