ST. PAUL, Minn. – Senior defender Alex Keller led four Minnesota Morris players in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Men’s Soccer All-Conference selections announced Tuesday.

Keller bookends his Cougar collegiate career with all-conference mentions. He received All-UMAC Honorable Mention recogntion his freshman season (2015) and moved up to All-UMAC First Team honors this season. The St. Cloud Tech product scored his only collegiate goal in a home win over Crown this season. He started all 21 games in 2018 and started 76 of 78 games in his career.

Earning All-UMAC Honorable Mention recognition were Gabe Arreguin, Lucas Harmon, and Devon Thompson.

Arreguin was an All-UMAC First Team performer last season. He played in 18 games this season, starting 16. The Waseca native scored two goals and assisted on another.

Harmon and Thompson earned their first all-conference mentions. Harmon started seven games in net for the Cougars, making 32 saves with a .762 save percentage. The sophomore defender Thompson started all 21 games for the Cougars in 2018.

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Senior Yu Ito leads three Minnesota Morris players in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC Women’s Soccer All-Conference selections announced Wednesday.

Ito ends a decorated career in a Cougar uniform by being named as an All-UMAC First Team performer all four seasons. She tied for the team lead with six goals in 2018 and was second in points with 13. She tallied 29 goals in her Cougar career which ties her for sixth in program history.

For the second straight season, midfielder Megan Ellingboe garnered All-UMAC Honorable Mention recognition. The junior battled through injuries this season to still lead the team in assists with five.

Earning her first all-conference nod is junior Brooke Lorentz. The All-UMAC Honorable Mention selection tied Ito for the team lead in goals with six. She added three assists to her offensive game to lead the squad with 15 points.
