The Great War: An Armistace Centenary Commemoration Concert will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at the Morris Elementary School Concert Hall. The performance will be in music and words commemorating the 100th anniversary of the ending of World War I. University of Minnesota Morris ensembles featured will be the Morris Concert Choir conducted by Bradley Miller and Morris Symphonic Winds conducted by Simon Tillier.

Tillier told the KMRS Community Connection program that the music in the program will be mostly classical, with contemporary twists, as will many of the readings.

The performance will be preceded by a half hour 2:30 p.m. slide show put together with World War I era artifacts from the Stevens County Historical Society and Museum. Admission is free.
