Holocaust survivor Fred Amram told an overflow Stevens County History Museum crowd last night that he’s still worried about the rise of the political far right.

Amram, who was born in Germany the same year Adolf Hitler became Chancellor, will speak 2 pm today at Hancock Schools in the gymnasium. His Power Point presentation will include photographs of his hometown during the time he was living there. The retired University of Minnesota professor’s memoir, “We’re in America Now,” will be available for purchase at the Hancock event.
