MORRIS – The Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta gymnastics team opened the season on Saturday by taking fourth at their home invite with a score of 113.85.
The Tigers were led by Olivia Lebrijia who took third on vault, fifth on floor, and fifth in the all-around.
Taylor Kill finished eight on beam and Callie Snell was ninth in all-around.
New London-Spicer won the event with a 132.85, Benson was runner-up, Detroit Lakes took third, while Park Rapids placed fifth.


Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta 67, MACCRAY 34
BENSON – Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta used a 19-0 run to turn a close game into a blowout and earn a dominant 67-34 win over MACCRAY in the Case IH Invite championship from Benson on Saturday.
The Tiger held the Wolverines to 14 first half points and led by 35 at the break.
Maddie Carrington led the Tigers with 19 points, Emma Bowman had 14, and Malory Anderson chipped in with eight points, seven rebounds, and six steals.
Sage Mecker led MACCRAY with 12 points.
