Kevin Beyer, General Manager and CEO of Farmers Mutual Telephone Company (based in Bellingham, MN) and Federated Telephone Cooperative (based in Chokio) was elected by the National Telecommunications Cooperative Association board to serve as their President in 2019.
Beyer has served on the NTCA Board of Directors for four years. With nearly 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, he has served on many industry boards, including the NECA Average Schedule Task Group Committee, the Pinnacle Marketing Group Board of Directors and multiple positions with the Minnesota Telecom Alliance. Beyer has been at the helm of Farmers Mutual and Federated for two decades.
Donna Eul, the Marketing/Customer Service Manager for Farmers and Federated, said the organization was “very proud to have the first NTCA President from the State of Minnesota from our Cooperatives.” She said Beyer’s leadership will help provide advanced communications services to members in rural Minnesota and across the nation.
