A Hancock man was injured Tuesday morning when his semi-rolled into a ditch in a crash in Pierce County, Wisconsin, a news release from the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office said.

The news release said Michael Koehl, 32, of Hancock was driving a semi-tractor and trailer with soybeans westbound on a hill on State Highway 72 negotiating a curve in the road when he lost control. The trailer began to jack-knife and it, and the semi-tractor overturned on the road and entered the north ditch and continued to roll.

Koehl was transported by ambulance to the River Falls Area Hospital in River Falls, Wisconsin, with undetermined injuries. Koehl was not wearing his seatbelt, according to the news release.
