After nearly four decades as Stevens County Recorder, Virginia Mahoney presented her final report to the Stevens County Board of Commissioners at their Tuesday meeting. The board thanked her for her years of service.

In her Year-in-Review report, Mahoney highlighted that all county documents are ready to go online for public access. All records are being replicated electronically and stored here and in New Jersey and Iowa. The number of e-recordings is steadily increasing, up to 276 through October. And the reimaging of documents in the system now goes back to 1932. County records go back to the 1870s.
