One local cattleman in attendance at the Minnesota Cattle Industry Convention in Alexandria this past weekend was Brady Wulf, who works at both Clear Springs Cattle Company south of Starbuck and C.R. Koehl and Sons out of Morris. He spoke with KMRS at the convention and raised concerns about lab-created protein products. These products could be hitting the grocery store shelves sometime in 2019.

Wulf also noted that this year’s Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Association Summer Tour will be held in Morris on July 9. Based at the Stevens County Fairgrounds, the tour will include visits to various feedlot operations, a robotic dairy, a look at equipment technology and a visit to the U of M Research center.
