Two people were injured in a truck-car crash in Douglas County on Saturday morning.
56-year-old Melissa Gail Udomah, of Balaton, was driving a Ford Explorer on Highway 27 at the I-94 intersection when a Kenworth Semi that was turning onto Highway 27 from I 94 pulled out from the ramp. The Explorer could not stop and spun out and hit the trailer of the Semi.
Udomah and her passenger 59-year-old Gregory Larence Clater, of Balaton, were taken to Alomere Hospital, in Alexandria, with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the truck was not injured.
