Bryan Herrmann has been appointed vice chancellor for finance and facilities at the University of Minnesota Morris. Herrmann is an alumnus of UM Morris and earned his MBA from UM Duluth. He has served as interim vice chancellor since 2015.
The vice chancellor for finance and facilities is the chief financial and business officer for the Morris campus and serves as a senior member of the campus leadership team, providing leadership and vision in the areas of financial and operational oversight and planning. Herrmann will supervise the following departments: business office, instructional technology, facilities management (including design and construction), and the campus police.
Under Herrmann’s as interim vice chancellor, the campus earned one of the National Association of College and University Business Officers’ first Excellence in Sustainability Awards for its demonstration-model of renewable energy production. Chancellor Michelle Behr said she was pleased with Herrmann’s appointment.
