Dick Metzger received a plaque from the Morris School District for his 10 years of service to the School Board.

One of the highlights for retiring Chair of the Morris School Board Dick Metzger during his decade on the board has been the voter approval to upgrade the Morris Area High School. On the KMRS Community Connection program, Metzger noted there was some initial doubt about the project and questions about how things had gotten so bad. But given the water quality in Morris, half a century of use took its toll.

Metzger also cited working with Superintendent Rick Lahn as a highlight of his tenure, as well as the successful merging with the Cyrus School District. He was given a plaque from the Morris School District at his final Board Meeting as chair for his years of service. Metzger thanked the community on KMRS for the opportunity to serve.
