The Courthouse was to be the scene of the planned demonstration.

Minnesota’s 8th Judicial District is putting out a request for proposals for replacement of the Assisted Listening Systems/Williams Sound Hearing Assistance Equipment in a number of its County courthouses. The courtroom updates need to be completed by June 30. Vendors must be certified, insured, have evidence of financial stability and meet others.

Deadline for proposals is 4 p.m. January 15. Late proposals will not be accepted. For details on the proposal, go to www.mncourts other legal requirements. The project must include installation of new hardware and its testing once complete for Grant, Pope, Lac qui Parle, Stevens, Swift, Traverse and Kandiyohi counties, and type “Request for Proposals” in the search bar. This will lead to a list of items where you can pick the proposals for the 8th Judicial District listening system.
