University of Minnesota Extension is offering Small Grain Winter Workshops across central Minnesota to address small grain production. The program is designed to help farmers determine if small grains can work on their farm and in their rotation. Presenters include UM Extension Small Grains Specialist Jochum Wiersma, UM Extension Crops Educator Jared Goplen; and UM Extension Crops Educator Phillip Glogoza.

Workshops will be presented from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, January 21 at the West Central Research and Outreach Center in Morris; and 10 to 2:30 p.m. Friday, February 22 at McKinney’s on Southside in Benson.
