BARRETT – Ortonville forced 24 turnovers and held West Central Area to 34 percent shooting for an 81-59 victory over the Knights.
Tyson Powell ran a fast-paced offense for the Trojans and finished with 18 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and four steals.
Caden Wellnitz had a game-high 21 points with seven rebounds, and DaVonte Edwards added 15 points with 11 rebounds for the Trojans who have won nine straight and are 9-1 on the season, 5-0 in the Pheasant Conference.
Jack Van Kempen had 16 points with nine rebounds for the Knights, Gavin Paulson score eight with five rebounds off the bench as they fall to 9-4, 4-2 in conference.
Hancock 57, Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley 38
HANCOCK – Bennett Nienhaus scored 18 points with six rebounds and Hancock earned a 57-38 victory over Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley.
The Owls shot 40 percent from long range and hit 13-17 at the foul line, improving to 10-2, 4-2 in the Pheasant Conference.
Cole Reese had 12 points with four assists, Daniel Milander added nine points with five steals for the Owls.
While the Wolverines shot 48 percent from inside the arc, they were just 1-15 from the outside, getting 11 points from Caleb Cardwell and 10 from Chanler Combellick. CGB is now 2-10 on the season. 0-6 in conference.

MONTEVIDEO – Nine different Tigers scored and Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta won their fifth straight with a 63-52 defeat of Montevideo.
Malory Anderson posted a double-double with 18 points, 10 rebounds, Maddie Carrington added 15 points and the Tigers recorded 18 steals, improving to 9-5, 3-3 in the West Central Confernce. The Thunder Hawks fall to 2-8, 1-5 in conference play.
