Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta 60, Minnewaska 43
MORRIS – In a defensive battle with their rival, Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta prevailed to win their sixth straight game with a 60-43 victory over Minnewaska.
Both teams shot just 25 percent from the floor, but the Tigers hit 24-35 free throws and dominated on the glass, outrebounding the Lakers 57-28.
Maddie Carrington had a game-high 16 points, Malory Anderson scored 13 with 17 rebounds, Kylie Swanson added 12 with seven boards, Liz Dietz and Emma Bowman combined for 10 points with 12 rebounds for the Tigers who are 10-5 overall and 4-3 in the West Central Conference.
Maddie Thorfinnson led the Lakers 12 points, Hannah Hoffmann and Lexi Piekarski each added seven as they fall to 9-7, 5-3 in conference play.
Hancock 57, Renville County West 29
HANCOCK – Hancock dominated from start to finish and earned a 57-29 victory over Renville County West on Tuesday.
The Owls won the rebounding battle 46-36 and got 13 points with five steals from Carlee Hanson, Rylee Hanson had 10 points with eight rebounds, Lexi Staples added nine points with four assists, and Tori Pahl pulled down 14 rebounds with four steals.
Lauren Wulf had eight points for the Jaguars who are 0-16, the Owls are 6-7.
Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley 39, Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg 32
GRACEVILLE – Reanna Ward and Emma Botker posted double-doubles and Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley earned a 39-32 victory over Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg.
Ward finished with 12 points and 14 rebounds while Botker added 11 points with 15 boards. The Wolverines are 11-4 while the Saints fall to 8-9.
Brandon-Evansville 49, Rothsay 37
ROTHSAY – Brandon-Evansville held Rothsay to just nine first half points, and held off the Tigers late rally to earn a 49-37 victory.
Mikenna Pattrin had 16 points while Brittany Korkowski added 10, and the Chargers got seven apiece from Kailee Klimek and Madison Quinn to improve to 12-2, 6-1 in the Little Eight Conference. The Tigers are 2-15.

EVANSVILLE – Keagan Schiele had 14 points and Tanner Bitzan added 11 in a losing effort as Brandon-Evansville fell to Osakis 59-47.
The Chargers were held to 37 percent shooting, getting eight points from Tyler Bitzan, as they fall to 6-8, the Silverstreaks are 14-0.

ALBANY – Albany erased a five-point halftime deficit to edge Minnewaska 45-44.
The Lakers shot 46 percent and got 18 points from Grant Jensen, but fall to 9-6 on the season while the Huskies are 11-4.

MELROSE – For the seventh time this season Taylor Kill stuck her beam routine, but Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta lost to Melrose 139.5-119.9 in gymnastics on Tuesday.
Kill finished tied for third on Vault, fifth on Floor, Olivia Lebrija took second in Vault, third on Floor. Kill, Lebrija, and Callie Snell for 2-4 in All-Around.
