Transportation Director Deann Recker presented results of an annual bullying survey to the Morris School Board at their regular meeting on Monday night. She received 118 online and paper responses to the survey from households using school transportation and said that, overall, results were positive. Only 12 students reported any kind of bullying behavior compared to 10 last year, which included 8 incidents of mean name calling and 4 incidents of being hit or kicked.

About 92 percent of students who answered the survey said they feel safe riding the bus, they like riding the bus, the driver is friendly and the driver handles discipline well.
