Yesterday was the last day of work for long-time Horizon Public Health Administrator Sandy Tubbs. She spoke on the KMRS Community Connection about our region’s biggest public health problems.
Tubbs noted there are also ongoing chellenges with mental health issues and obesity, not to mention a variety of illnesses. Tubbs began her career in public health with Stevens Traverse Public Health. This past October, the Minnesota Department of Health awarded Tubbs its Commissioner’s Award for Distinguished Service in Community Health Services.
