The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) is hosting an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday (Feb 6), to gather input for the future vision of the Highway 29 corridor in Alexandria. The event will be held at the Douglas County Public Works Building, 526 Willow Drive in Alexandria. A formal presentation is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.
The purpose of this study is to establish a vision for the corridor and to identify future roadway improvements to address safety and traffic issues on Highway 29, and better serve the area’s multi-modal transportation needs. Representatives of the project team will be available to discuss details and answer questions.
