ST. PAUL, Minn. – Justin Pearson has been named the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference office Monday.
Pearson won two events and recorded a runner-up finish at the Gene Glader Classic, hosted by Bethel University on Saturday. On the day, Pearson won the 60-meter dash (7.08) and the 200-meter dash (22.82), while taking second in the 400-meter dash (50.90). Pearson’s time of 50.90 Saturday improves his No. 3 standing in school history.
The Cougars are back in action on Saturday, Feb. 9, in Collegeville, Minnesota for the Saint John’s Invitational. The meet is slated for an 11 a.m. start
