MORRIS – Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta opened the game on a 17-4 run and never trailed in a 59-27 rout of Minnewaska at the Tiger Center.
The Lakers were held to just 22 percent shooting and went 10 minutes before making a field goal, the Tigers meanwhile shot 53 percent for the game.
Jaret Johnson had 23 points with six rebounds and three steals, Camden Arndt had 13 points, five rebounds, and four assists, Jackson Loge added 10 points and Zach Hughes chipped in with eight. The Tigers are 10-7 overall, 6-5 in the West Central Conference.
Shawn Carsten had 10 points with eight rebounds for the Lakers who fall to 12-7, 7-4 in conference.
Hancock 77, Brandon-Evansville 57
HANCOCK – Bennett Nienhaus led four Owls in double-figures with 17 points and Hancock earned a 77-57 victory over Brandon-Evansville.
Connor Reese had 13 points with five assists, Cole Reese added 12 points with five assists, four steals, and Peyton Rohloff filled the stat sheet with 12 points, seven boards and four assists for the Owls who shot 47 percent.
Tanner Bitzan led the Chargers with 23 points, Marshall Riedel added 11 as they fall to 8-9, 3-4 in the Pheasant Conference. Hancock is 13-3 and 5-1 in conference play.
West Central Area 65, Upsala 56
BARRETT – West Central Area overcame an 11-0 start by Upsala to defeat the Cardinals 65-56 in Barrett.
Jack VanKempen led the Knights with 19 points, Gage Staples added 11 with six rebounds, Grant Beuckens added nine points and five boards. The Knights are 11-5.
The Cardinals got 17 points from Jorgan Reily and 14 from Levi Lampert but fall to 8-10.

SAUK CENTRE – Sauk Centre outscored Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta 44-18 in the second half on their way to a 80-42 victory over the Tigers.
Maddie Carrington had nine points and Emma Bowman added eight for the Tigers who were held to 28 percent shooting. The Tigers fall to 10-8 overall, 4-5 in the West Central Conference, while the Mainstreeters improved to 17-2, 10-0 in conference.
Underwood 49, Brandon-Evansville 48
BRANDON – Kayla Rocholl hit a go-ahead three with 10 seconds left to push Underwood past Brandon-Evansville 49-48 in a big Little Eight Conference showdown.
Rocholl finished with a game-high 20 points and the Rockets improved to 16-2 overall, 8-1 conference action. Mikenna Pattrin had 15 points for the Chargers, Madison Quinn and Sara Jacobson each had 11 as they fall to 14-6, 7-2 in conference.
Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley 45, Wilmot 33
WILMOT – Despite shooting just 25 percent, Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley was able to grind out a 45-33 victory over Wilmot with suffocating defense by recording 12 steals.
Reanna Ward had 17 points and nine rebounds, Emma Botker scored 11, and Mataiah Turner added eight with four steals. The Wolverines are now 14-5.

MORRIS – Kolby Goff’s goal at 6:15 of overtime lifted Morris/Benson Area past Wadena/Deer Creek 3-2 at the Lee Community Center.
Goff took a feed from Kellen Erdahl for his second overtime winner in 10 days, and the Storm improved to 8-11.
Trailing 2-1 with under two minutes left in regulation Hunter Blume tied the game for the storm on a power-play goal with Jack Riley assisting.
Brady DeHaan opened the scoring in the first with assists coming from Will Breuer and Zander Hoffman, Chase Engebretson stopped 32 shots in net.
