Dillon McBrady is the next University of Minnesota Morris Alumni Association (UMMAA) Board of Directors president. The former history major and student body president who graduated UM Morris in 2013 plans to connect alumni with each other and with U of M Morris students during his year as president.
As a UM Morris student, McBrady was very involved, having been a board member of six student groups, including student government (president 2012–13). After graduating, McBrady went on to Mitchell Hamline School of Law in Saint Paul. He then practiced law in Morris before becoming a partner of McVentures, LLC and CEO of the Leprekald Grilling Division. Originally from Maple Lake, McBrady now lives in Morris.
McBrady succeeds Larry Traversie, who will continue to serve the board as immediate past president, on February 21.
