A proposal brought forth in the State Legislature last week would try to eliminate the need for School Districts to go to voters with a school levy referendum and instead solicit public input through School Board meetings. District 12A State Representative Jeff Backer told KMRS that he thought that was bad policy.

Backer spoke on the KMRS Legislative Corner program which airs on Sunday mornings. The full interview can be found at our website, kmrskkok.com under the News tab in the Community Connection section.
