Icy conditions yesterday contributed to two crashes on I-94.

Two people were injured in a one vehicle crash in Grant County late yesterday afternoon. 45-year-old Rocky A. Saretsky was driving a Ford Econoline east near Ashby when he lost control on the icy roadway. The van went into the ditch and rolled coming to rest on its left side.

18-year-old Colbi Saretsky and 19-year-old Mercedes Saretsky sustained non-life threatening injuries and were taken to Lakes Region Hospital. Four other passengers were not injured.

A second crash resulted in one person injured in a one car crash in Douglas County yesterday afternoon.

61-year-old Donna Marie Becker, of Cavalier, ND, was traveling east on I-94 near Osakis when she lost control of her 2010 Mazda 6S and rolled into the median. She suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Alomere Hospital in Alexandria.
