In its first year of operation in the Morris School District, the E-Learning system received praise from the District’s principals at this week’s meeting of the Morris School Board. The system was designed for students to keep up with class work from their computers on days when school was closed. This winter, the system has been put to the test, but High School Principal Bill Kehoe reported good feedback from the teachers.
School Board Member Jennifer Goodnough said she heard from some parents that students who normally don’t ask questions in the classroom setting were more comfortable asking questions online to their teachers. Elementary School Principal Shane Monson said parent feedback has been overall positive.
