Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta 69, Parkers Prairie 68
MORRIS – Camden Arndt shot 10-16 from the floor to finish with 25 points and eight rebounds, leading Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta past Parkers Prairie 69-68 on Thursday.
Jaret Johnson scored 17 and became the latest Tiger to reach the 1,000 point milestone. Jackson Loge posted a double-double with 10 points, 11 rebounds and the Tigers shot 51 percent as a team improving to 15-8, the Panthers fell to 18-4.

Hancock 72, Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley 37
GRACEVILLE – 11 different Owls scored in Hancock’s 72-37 rout of Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley on Thursday.
Bennett Nienhaus led with 25 points, Peyton Rohloff had 12 points with eight rebounds, and Cole Reese dished out 10 assists for the Owls who had 18 steals while outrebounding CGB 38-29, moving to 17-5 on the season, 8-2 in the Pheasant Conference.
Sam Adelman had 10 points for the Wolverines, Cole Gilsdorf had eight as they fall to 3-19, 0-9 in conference.

West Central Area 63, Brandon-Evansville 47
BARRETT – Jacob Bright hit five threes to finish with 15 points and the West Central Area Knights outlasted Brandon-Evansville 63-47.
After the Chargers pulled within two in the second half, Bright hit a three on three of the Knights next four possessions and they never looked back.
Gage Staples added 17 points, Jack Van Kempen had 11 with nine rebounds, and Teigen Mortiz added 12 for the Knights who are 13-7 overall, 7-3 in the Pheasant Conference.
Eli Anderson had 15 points off the bench for the Chargers who were held to 30 percent shooting and turned the ball over 17 times, falling to 13-11, 5-5 in conference.

Hillcrest 85, Wheaton/Herman-Norcross 47
FERGUS FALLS – Hillcrest shot nearly 60 percent en rout to a 85-47 win over Wheaton/Herman-Norcross.
Hunter Johnson had 14 points for the Warriors while Matt Thielen added 13 for the Warriors who fell to 6-14 overall, 1-8 in the Pheasant Conference.
The Comets outscored the Warriors 36-18 in the paint and improved to 11-9 overall, 2-6 in conference.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta 83, Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City 55
GROVE CITY – Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta forced 28 Falcon turnovers and closed out the regular season with a dominant 83-55 win over Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City.
Maddie Carrington had a game-high 22 points, Malory Anderson posted a double-double with 19 points, 13 rebounds. The Tigers shot 52 percent as a team and got 10 points from Emma Bowman, while Riley Decker chipped in nine.
The Tigers head into the postseason with a 14-8 record, 8-5 in the West Central Conference. The Falcons are 3-20, 2-12 in conference.

Hancock 50, Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg 46
HANCOCK – Carlee Hanson filled the stat sheet with 16 points, six rebounds, and five steals to lead Hancock past Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg 50-46 in their regular season finale.
The Owls shot 46 percent as a team, getting 11 points and nine boards from Lexi Staples, ending the regular season with an 11-11 record. Katie Krieger led the Saints with 23 points as they fall to 12-13.

Parkers Prairie 53, Brandon-Evansville 39
PARKERS PRAIRIE – Parkers Prairie used a second half run to pull away from Brandon-Evansville for a 53-39 win. The Chargers were held to 30 percent shooting, getting nine points from Bailey Schaefer and eight from Mikenna Pattrin. The Chargers are 14-9, 7-4 in the Little Eight Conference while the Panthers move to 20-2 overall, 11-0 in conference.
