At this week’s meeting of the Morris School Board at the Morris Elementary School, School Board Member Doug Stahman made a presentation on why the school district should consider adding an array of solar panels to its structure or grounds. Stahman told his fellow board members that such an investment would raise awareness on energy issues and could pay for itself in about 17 years.

Stahman’s presentation was about a project that would be larger and different than a solar array project currently being put worked on by the Morris Area High School’s Robotics team. Both projects would use Publicly Owned Property grants from Otter Tail Power Company, but Stahman’s presentation was about a project four times the size of the Robotics’ team.
