The Stevens County Sheriff’s Office rescued six occupied vehicles over the course of this blustery weekend, and two unoccupied vehicles were towed. The Morris Police Department assisted six vehicles that were stuck in town. The Sheriff’s Office reported very spotty conditions in the area this past weekend. For example, Highway 59 North was passable with occasional tough driving, while South was impassable until the plows went through, but snow immediately drifted back in.
