Wags, Whiskers and Wine, a benefit for the Stevens Community Humane Society, will begin with a 6 p.m. social hour Saturday at Old No. 1 Southside in Morris, followed by 7 p.m. dinner. There will be live music, prize drawings, a live and silent auction, craft beers and Minnesota wines. Board Member Tracey Anderson told KMRS that the Humane Society is putting the finishing touches on their new facility on Highway 28, past the bowling alley and the car wash.

The building will house other businesses in the animal care industry, including a veterinarian, a dog groomer, a dog boarding operation, and – down the road – a dog wash. Tickets for Wags, Whiskers & Wine are $25 in advance, $30 at the door. To reserve tickets, go to
