A new law passed by Legislature puts Extracurricular School Activity Accounts under the management of School Boards. Retiring Morris School’s Superintendent Rick Lahn said at this week’s School Board meeting there are over 50 such accounts the school run’s, from athletics to music, theater and drama. But Lahn says that those who currently run those accounts may feel the change but the accountability will be a good thing. The new law goes into effect July 1st. Lahn told the Board that they had no choice, it was a resolution that had to pass.
