MORRIS, M.N. (KMRS/KKOK) – The Minnesota State Patrol has identified Monday’s three vehicle accident near Morris as a fatal one.
Madeline Noelle Gorham, age 18 of Montevideo, died as a result of injuries suffered due to the crash near Morris, Tuesday. Gorham was airlifted to Sanford Hospital in Fargo via LifeLink helicopter following the crash.

A Montevideo woman was airlifted to Fargo after a 3 vehicle crash south of Morris.
The crash happened at the intersection of highway 59 and county road 8 shortly before 12:30 PM Monday. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Madelline Noelle Gorham, age 18 of Montevideo, was traveling Northbound in a 2014 Ford Taurus which struck at Minnesota DOT truck working on the shoulder of the road. The Taurus then entered the Southbound lane and was struck by a Freightliner traveling in the Southbound lane.
Gorham was airlifted via LifeLink helicopter to Sanford Hospital in Fargo with life threatening injuries. The driver of the DOT vehicle, Robert Kloos of Morris, and the driver of the Freightliner, Charles Green of Breckenridge, were not injured.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Stevens County Sheriff’s Office, the Morris Police Department, Morris Fire Department and LifeLink.
