The Minnesota Public Facilities Authority (PFA) announced $12 million in loan and grant funding for water infrastructure projects in Atkin, Dassel, Gibbon, Marshall.

Marshall will receive $7 million to make improvements to the drinking water treatment plant that will reduce the discharge of chlorides to the environment. Funding for this project comes from a Point Source Implementation grant of $7 million. Governor Tim Walz said the grant represents a “great investment in the health and wellbeing of our local communities.”
