ST. PAUL – Two members of the University of Minnesota Morris volleyball team were honored with player of the week plaudits by the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC), as announced Monday afternoon. Layne Herrmann was named the UMAC Setter of the Week, while Alyssa Ukestad was tabbed the UMAC Defensive Player of the Week.
On Friday night the Cougars topped Concordia in five sets before falling to No. 22 Saint Benedict in four sets.
