The 4th Annual AED Fundraiser and Silent Auction in memory of Steve Larson will be held Saturday at Place to Be, 300 Atlantic Avenue, in Donnelly. The event is sponsored by Papa’s Angels and Fishin’ Fools Dart Team and raises money to purchase AED devices for businesses, organizations and churches that request a need. Steve’s widow, Audrey Larson, told the KMRS Community Connection that the organization has been busy placing AEDs throughout the region.

“We have placed 10, and then currently on Saturday we will place the 11th at Zion Lutheran Church in Appleton,” said Larson. “So we have them placed at Trinity Lutheran in Alberta, the Chokio Post Office, Chizek Ball Field, the Morris American Legion, the Mondovi, Wisconsin Police Department, Kongsvinger Church in Donnelly, Captain’s Bar and Grill in Long Beach, the Stevens County Museum, and the Morris Public Library.”

There will also be a 50/50 raffle and a dart tournament with 1 p.m. registration and $15 entry per person. The silent auction opens at 3 p.m. and closes at 6:30 p.m. The free will grilled pork loin and fixin’s will be served beginning at 4 p.m., and live music by Custom Made Band starts at 4:30 p.m.
