At Monday’s Morris School Board meeting, the board approved the “maximum” 2019 payable 2020 preliminary levy certification, which is virtually unchanged from last year. School officials anticipate the levy will go down about 6/100 of a percentage.

Morris Schools Superintendent Troy Ferguson told KMRS that the levy depends on enrollment figures and various formulas, which added up to this year’s preliminary figures being static. The final levy will be set in December.
