The Stevens County Historical Society and Museum will be hosting a two day workshop to “Build Your Own Cabinet of Curiosity,” in concert with a current exhibit on display at the museum. Curator Hannah King said on the KMRS Community Connection that materials will be provided, and no woodworking or technical skill is involved.

“With the workshop, we’re actually letting you build your own miniature cabinet of curiosity,” said King. “So, we have a variety of vintage boxes, vintage music, all sorts of different materials that are kind of fund that will let you build up your own little mini cabinet. But you’ll be able to take that home and display your own little curiosities and treasures in there.”

The workshop is open to those 10 and older and will be held 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, October 8 and 10 at the History Museum, 116 West 6th Street in Morris. Cost is $20 per person and includes materials. Children must be accompanied by an adult. RSVP to 320-589-1719.
