Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta 3, Minnewaska Area 2
MORRIS – Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta and Minnewaska battle for five sets with the Tigers edging the Lakers 25-12, 24-26, 25-23, 17-25, 15-13.
After a dominant first set, the Tigers blew a 23-21 lead in set two, allowing the Lakers to grab five of the last six points to even things up.
The Lakers again rallied late in set three, erasing a six-point deficit to tie the set at 23, but the Tigers were able to respond this time with the final two points.
After the Lakers controlled set four start to finish, set five was a back-n-forth nail biter. Facing match point, the Lakers scored twice to get within one at 14-13, but a big spike by Lex Pew ended it, giving the Tigers a season split with their rivals.
LaRae Kramm had 35 assists with 15 digs for the Tigers, Pew led with 10 kills and nine blocks, Courtney Lehman had 25 digs.
Emma Bowman had seven kills, 10 digs, Macee Libbesmeier chipped in 14 digs with three aces. Ellie Danielson led the Lakers with 14 kills, Sara Geiser had 30 assists.

Hancock 3, West Central Area 2
BARRETT – Hancock was able to slip past West Central Area in a five set thriller from Barrett on Tuesday 22-25, 25-23, 26-24, 22-25, 17-15.
The Owls brought lots of energy and took advantage of a few key miscues by the Knights with sound hitting and great team defense.
Liz Rustan had 13 kills with six blocks for the Knights, Kaylin Ulrich had 22 digs while Hailey Bennett added 16 assists.

Henning 3, Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley 2
HENNING – CGB had their six match win streak snapped with heartbreaking five set loss to Henning 25-19, 22-25, 27-25, 16-25, 10-15.
CGB looked like the better of the two power teams for much of three sets, but the Hornets were able to turn it on late and sneak past the Wolverines.
Jessica Moberg led CGB with 29 assists, 28 digs, and 14 kills, Lora Botker added 16 kills, 22 assists, and 21 digs.
Reanna Ward chipped in 13 kills, 19 digs, and seven blocks, Mataiah Turner had eight blocks with 27 digs, Kylie Lick tallied 25 digs, Emma Wulff and Lily Murphy combined on 10 blocks.

Brandon-Evansville 3, Ashby 0
ASHBY – Brandon-Evansville moved closer to their second straight Little Eight Conference title with a sweep of Ashby, 25-14, 25-15, 25-15.
Bailey Schaefer had 14 kills, Korrie Randt added 24 assists, Kailee Klimek had five aces serving for the Chargers who are 8-0 in conference play with two to go.
